MARCH 20, 2017
RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) -- The PGA of BC’s 2017 competition schedule will see the Association host its Championships in six different communities around the province, including stops in the Lower Mainland, Interior and Vancouver Island regions.
Championship tournaments administered by the PGA of BC allow the Association's hundreds of member Professionals to compete against each other and alongside players from their own clubs. The events are also excellent opportunities for Professionals to network with peers, partners and industry leaders, to promote participation by junior and amateur players, and to bring increased exposure to PGA of BC golf facilities. Thousands of dollars in prizing will be up for grabs at each of the tournaments, which will be hosted at some of the province’s premier courses.
This year’s competition calendar will kick off in late May with the PGA of BC Tournament of Champions presented by Thunderbolt Sign and VIP Golf, and conclude with the Cleveland Golf-Srixon Canada PGA of BC Club Professional Championship presented by Oakcreek Golf & Turf in September.
