PGA of BC Board of Directors Seek Interest for Positions on the Board

The PGA of BC Board of Directors invites qualified members interested in serving on the Board of Directors to submit their names for consideration. In the coming election, there will be five (5) vacant positions on the Board, as well as one (1) position as Assistant's Representative (two separate elections will be held). All positions are two-year, non-renewable terms, and candidates must be Class "A" Professionals in order to be considered. Candidates in consideration for the Assistant's Representation Position must be in the Class "A" Professional or Teaching Professional Categories.

Requirements for the positions include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending four (4) PGA of BC Board of Directors meetings per year (3 in person, 1 conference call)
  • Attendance at the PGA of BC Annual General Meeting (February 20, 2017)
  • Attendance at the PGA of BC Board Orientation Meeting (March 2017)

 

Expectations for the positions include, but are not limited to:

  • Participation in one (1) or more PGA of BC Tournament
  • Attendance at the PGA of BC Spring Education Seminar & one (1) or more Education Series Event
  • Attendance at the PGA of BC Buying Show

Candidates will be asked to submit a brief biography and description of no more than 250 words to reflect why they wish to run for a position on the PGA of BC Board.

 

Candidate's data and answers will be made available to voting members online. To submit your name for consideration, please send an email with your biography by Monday, January 16th at 12:00PM to Executive Director, Donald Miyazaki at donald@pgabc.org. Confirmation will be sent to candidates upon receipt of application.
