RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) -- With more than 70 PGA of BC members and guests on hand to take in a trio of engaging and informative presentations, the Association’s 2018 Education Series presented by Foresight Sports Canada got off to a tremendous start Monday at Richmond Country Club.
Kevin MacDonald of Clarity Success Coaching opened the program with a talk on “The Game Changing Ingredient,” aiding attendees in understanding how to reach their long-term goals and where to derive the energy to help them get there.
Next up, host Executive Professional Mark Strong moderated a panel discussion featuring three Lower Mainland Head Professionals – Seymour Golf & Country Club’s Dale Schienbein, Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club’s Alan Palmer and Point Grey Golf & Country Club’s Dave Zibrik – who discussed the pathways they took in their careers and the major influencers who encouraged them along the way.
The day concluded with Northview Golf Academy’s Matthew Palsenbarg presenting the results of the PGA of BC’s recent Teaching Survey, which generated fantastic input from attendees as part of a larger look at the province’s golf instruction industry.
