RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) -- Back by popular demand, the PGA of British Columbia, in partnership with the Vancouver Canucks, is proud to once again host Canucks Junior Golf Week presented by Odlum Brown Limited.
We're pleased to announce to pre-registrants and past participants that general registration for this great event is now open!
ABOUT
Canucks Junior Golf Week will take place from July 2-9, 2019, featuring dozens of single-day camps for youth located at golf facilities throughout British Columbia. Children aged 5 & up will have fun learning the game of golf from certified PGA of British Columbia Professionals in their respective communities.
Boys and girls from all athletic backgrounds and all skill levels are encouraged to register -- no previous golf experience or equipment is necessary to participate! Approximately 3,500 kids have taken part in Canucks Junior Golf Week since 2014, and the vast majority were introduced to the sport for the first time. We'll supply the clubs if your son or daughter doesn't have their own.
COST & CAMP DETAILS
The cost for a one-day camp during Canucks Junior Golf Week is only $20 (+GST), which includes equipment rental (if required), facility fees, certified golf instruction led by PGA of BC Professionals and multiple take-home gifts. The length of each camp will vary by facility, the number of attendees and the general age of the participants, but sessions generally last up to two hours in length. Learn more about the program at www.pgabc.org/golfweek.
In addition to the Vancouver Canucks and exclusive presenting sponsor Odlum Brown Limited, the PGA of British Columbia would like to thank contributing sponsors Srixon and Kal Tire for their patronage of this junior golf initiative, as well as BC Hockey for its ongoing support.
