Ralph Bauer
Bio:
Ralph is the Director of Instruction at Hamilton Golf & Country Club, founder of the Tour Read Golf Green Reading app, and longtime coach to many of the world’s top golfers.
Ralph is a 28-year member of the PGA of Canada and has spent over a decade coaching elite competitors. He has coached competitors at all four majors, Presidents Cups, the 2016 Summer Olympics and at every PGA Tour stop. His past and present students include Adam Hadwin, Mackenzie Hughes, David Hearn, Graham DeLaet, Nick Taylor, Adam Svensson, Lucas Glover, Gary Woodland, Kyle Stanley, Jhonny Vegas, JJ Spaun, Kevin Chappell, Anirban Lahiri and Brandon Harkins. Ralph also coaches many of Canada’s top amateur golfers, with his students consistently making Golf Canada’s national amateur team.
Ralph developed Tour Read as a training app that reads the slope of the green, which has changed the career trajectory of many of his students. Mackenzie Hughes, an early beta tester of the app, won the Sanderson Farms Championship last October, his first championship in five years. Nick Taylor, another user, finished second in the WM Phoenix Open this year, then cemented his place as a national golf icon with his victory at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, where he sunk a 72-foot eagle bomb on the fourth playoff hole.
In addition to his presentation at the Education Seminar, Ralph will be featured at a separate Interactive Education presentation following the Seminar on February 6, taking place at Ace Performance Centre in Richmond at 4:15 PM.
