Eric has over 20 years of teaching experience working with golf students of all levels. He coaches players ranging from beginners and juniors to serious professional golfers, and provides lessons in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

 

Eric started playing golf at the age of 8, introduced to the game by his grandfather. Originally from Southern California, he competed nationally at the highest junior level on the SCJPGA and AJGA junior golf tours, and earned a Division 1 golf scholarship to the University of California, Irvine. As captain, Eric led the UCI golf team to the NCAA Division 1 Championships while earning Scholar Athlete and Honorable Mention in his conference. Upon graduating college, Eric turned professional and played on worldwide tours including Asia, Web.com and the PGA Tour Canada. In 2008, Eric settled in Victoria, BC with family, and continues to teach and compete. He became a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certified instructor, and incorporates the use of Trackman in his lessons. Eric is also on Callaway Professional golf staff.

 

Eric has trained with some of the Golf Digest’s top-ranked instructors in America, who have inspired him and passed along valuable knowledge needed to teach the game of golf. Eric's teaching methods have successfully helped players of all levels and he is passionate about helping his students learn the game and play their best, both recreationally and competitively.
