I grew up in Rossland BC where I played many different sports. My first sport was hockey but I soon found golf and started to play at the Birchbank Golf Course. Junior tournaments and lessons soon took over my summers and I was hooked on the game. Following a solid year playing wise in 2012 I was awarded a golf scholarship to Lindenwood University in St. Charles Missouri. I played four years of NCAA golf for the Lions while obtaining a degree in Business in May of 2017. Following graduation I returned to BC to work for British Columbia Golf as the Manager of Golf Participation.
