The fight for the 2013 PGA of BC PDP title has entered its final month and while there was little change at the top, there is a dogfight for the sixth and final money-earning spot. Kelowna Golf and Country Club's Rob Anderson and Myles Johnson of Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club are tied for sixth and the $250 that comes with that position. At the top of the leaderboard, only three points separate the top three point-getters.

The PGA of BC is proud to release a tentative Education schedule for the 2014 season. As launched in 2013 through the Education Series, seminars will take place throughout various regions of the province to give as many PGA of BC members the opportunity to attend, learn and expand their skills and knowledge base. The tentative schedule is as follows (subject to change without notice): January 20th - Education Series 1 (The Vancouver Golf Club) February 5th - Education Series 2 (Victoria Golf Club)

James Presnail, Head Professional at the Gleneagles Golf Course in West Vancouver, is the 2013 winner of the $1,000 Forestar Golf Community Leadership Bursary. The Forestar Golf Community Leadership Bursary is awarded to an individual who demonstrates an extraordinary desire and passion to use their unique gifts and abilities in order to make a significant difference in the lives of those around him/her, and in doing so, sets an example of “giving back” that all PGA of BC members can be proud to be associated with.
