Conner Kozak, PGA of Canada Class "A" Professional "Coaching vs Teaching"
At an early age of about 8 or 9 years old, Conner began to develop a strong passion for the sport of golf. This passion only grew stronger into his teens as he began to notice continual improvement in his game and in competition. Following a junior golf career highlighted by several championships and top finishes in high level competition, Conner had the privilege of being recruited to play varsity golf at the University of British Columbia. While pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, he was named team captain for three out of his four years on the team. During his time on the team, Conner was able to help lead the T-Birds to numerous tournament wins and national championships.
Now as a professional, he believes in growing the game at all levels of play and is driven by providing the opportunity for others to love the game, just as it was once given to him.
Rob Tadey, Head Golf Professional & TBA "Club Culture Panel"
Rob Tadey is the current Head Professional at Fairview Mountain Golf Club in Oliver, BC. Raised in the Penticton area, Rob developed a passion for golf at the local Penticton Golf Club. After high school, Rob pursued a career as a Red Seal Chef by completing the Chef's Training course, which opened doors for numerous culinary opportunities. However, Rob's true passion remained golf, leading him to Camosun College in Victoria, BC, where he completed a business management program and joined the PGA of Canada..
Returning to the Okanagan, Rob joined Fairview Mountain Golf Club as an Assistant Professional. Over the years, he gained valuable experience, eventually being promoted to Head Golf Professional in 2019. Rob is dedicated to growing the game of golf in the South Okanagan and is heavily involved in running junior, ladies, and mixed clinics and group lessons. He is an active participant in PGA of BC and Canada events and remains competitive in these tournaments.
