The fight for the 2013 PGA of BC PDP title has entered its final month and while there was little change at the top, there is a dogfight for the sixth and final money-earning spot.
Kelowna Golf and Country Club's Rob Anderson and Myles Johnson of Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club are tied for sixth and the $250 that comes with that position.
At the top of the leaderboard, only three points separate the top three point-getters.
Matt Palsenbarg of Northview Golf & Country Club, with 99 points, leads Gleneagles Golf Course's James Presnail by one point while Dave Zibrik of Seymour Creek Golf Centre is only three points behind at 96 points.
The total purse of $6,000 includes $2,000 for first place, $1,500 for second and $1,000 for third, all the way down to $250 for sixth place.
Rounding out the top five are Jesse Crowe of the PGA of BC at 89 points and Chad Scott of The Harvest Golf Club at 85 points.
The PDP race runs until the end of the year, with the final awards given out in January.
With the PDP race coming to an end for 2013, this is the final month for PGA of BC members to requisition points for education, volunteerism and any other points they believe they are entitled to.
Please click here for the PDP Points Requisition form:
Please also note that PGA of BC Executive Director Donald Miyazaki will make the final determination on whether points will be awarded and will be the final voice on all point requisitions.
We will not be accepting any 2013 point requisition requests past the Dec. 31, 2013 deadline.
405 of the PGA of BC's 649 current members have registered at least one point in this year's PDP race.
