PGA of BC reaches partnership with SuperSpeed Golf

MARCH 5, 2019

RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) – The PGA of BC is delighted to announce it has entered into a partnership agreement with SuperSpeed Golf, effective through the end of the 2020 season.

A Bronze-level Preferred Partner of the Association, SuperSpeed Golf will also be the presenting sponsor of the PGA of BC’s Alvie Thompson Teacher of the Year Award for the duration of the agreement.

SuperSpeed Golf and its unique training system are trusted by more than 600 of the world’s top touring players to increase the speed and overall efficiency of their golf swings.

“We are excited to align with Golf Professionals and instructors in British Columbia through our new relationship with the PGA of BC,” said SuperSpeed Golf CEO and Co-founder Kyle Shay. “By implementing SuperSpeed’s training regimens, golf coaches across the world are noticing tremendous gains in their students’ swing speeds.

“We encourage everyone to work on their own swing speed with SuperSpeed. We also feel that this training can be an exciting way to create new speed specific instructional programs for your facilities.”

The SuperSpeed training system includes a set of three specifically weighted training clubs: one 20-per-cent lighter than the player’s driver, one 10-per-cent lighter, and one five-per-cent heavier. Along with the product, SuperSpeed offers nearly two years of included online instruction with the system. On average, players see a five-per-cent gain in swing speed after the first session of training. Three 10-minute training sessions per week for six weeks will make this five-per-cent gain permanent.

As part of our new relationship with SuperSpeed Golf, PGA of BC members are eligible for special-offer pricing and wholesale-purchasing accounts on SuperSpeed products and coaching bundles. Visit our Member Benefits & Corporate Discounts page for more information (login required).

“With its dynamic training system and equipment that provide instant results, SuperSpeed Golf is an ideal partner for PGA of BC members who teach and compete across the province, and a natural fit as presenting sponsor of our Alvie Thompson Teacher of the Year Award,” said Grant Gray, PGA of BC Business Development Manager. “I have personally gone through workouts using the SuperSpeed Golf training system and seen immediate gains in swing speed.

“We are grateful for SuperSpeed’s generous support and look forward to an excellent partnership in the seasons ahead.”
