It was a huge success at the Richmond Oval on Oct. 16 and 17 as more than 600 people attended during 20 hours of the PGA of BC 2013 Trade Show.

PGA of BC members had the opportunity to win more than $15,000 worth of door prizes just by attending and filling out their blue member ballots and some of the big prizes and winners included:

* Trip for 2 to Carlsbad – Tom Monaghan
* Trip for 2 to Vegas – Kelvin Trott
* $500 Travel Credit – Rob Anderson
* iPad Mini – Germain Francoeur
* 50” TV – Kylie Frederick
* 32” TV – Jim McMurdo

But it wasn't only the members who attended who were big winners. Every member who fulfilled an order with a supplier was given a purple ballot to enter into a separate draw for some great prizes. Some of the big prizes and winners included:

* $500 Cash – Dennis Bradley
* $400 Cash – Michael Chmilar
* $300 Cash – Andy Hajer
* $250 Cash – Adam Blair
* AED Defibrillator – Tyrel Babkirk
* Signed Burrows Jersey – Jordan Ray
* Signed Kesler Jersey – Duane Wakida

According to the preliminary numbers from the purple ballots submitted, more than 370 orders were written up and the total value of those orders is in the millions. Some exhibitors were writing orders up so fast that they had to repeatedly come back to registration for more purple forms.
