KELOWNA, BC (PGA of British Columbia) -- A varied lineup of valuable information drew dozens of PGA of BC members to the year's third installment of the Association's Education Series presented by Foresight Sports Canada, held today at Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club.
Matthew Palsenbarg (Northview Golf Academy) opened the day's program by delivering results of the recent PGA of BC Teaching Survey, placing an emphasis on the findings specific to the Interior region. The Association would like to thank Palsenbarg for his efforts to collect and share this information with fellow Golf Professionals to the benefit of British Columbia's entire golf-instruction industry.
Attendees then absorbed important insights from WorkSafeBC's Jessica Berglund, who provided an overview of best practices for operators of golf facilities to ensure a healthy and safe workplace for their employees. The third and final presentation came courtesy of Kyle Recksy, Associate Portfolio Manager for our Preferred Partners at Odlum Brown Limited, who discussed financial and investment planning strategies.
To wrap things up, Jason Giesbrecht of Foresight Sports Canada demonstrated the capability's of Foresight's GC Quad launch monitor as members enjoyed a tasting courtesy of our Preferred Partners at Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks.
