The Chilliwack Golf & Country Club is gearing up to host its 2013 Men’s Open tournament July 6 to 7.
With more than 1,000 spectators expected to attend, this two-day tournament is bringing back signature fan favorites including the 15th Hole Grandstand, which draws one of the biggest crowds at any Vancouver Golf Tour event in the Lower Mainland.
“We are passionate about the players and community we serve,” said Chilliwack Golf Club’s General Manager, Bryan Ewart. “The dedication and year-long efforts to make the Chilliwack Men’s Open a success is a team effort. Our staff, club members and overall community support is the reason we are able to come back stronger year after year, and we anticipate another great turnout.”
The popular event is also a place where aspiring PGA of BC applicants can pass their Playing Ability Test. Applicants can enter the tournament by calling the pro shop at 604-823-6521 or online at www.chilliwackgolf.com.
The Chilliwack Golf & Country Club was established in 1958 and is a semi‐private facility featuring magnificent tree-lined fairways, a creek that meanders through the back nine and breathtaking mountain vistas in every direction. For more information, visit www.chilliwackgolf.com.
