The PGA of BC will be ably represented by a strong team of 12 Head Professionals at the Titleist Foot Joy PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada in Port St. Lucie, Florida, starting on Nov. 17.
The Team BC Inter-Zone squad is led by Olympic View Golf Club's Kevin Maxwell (pictured), Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club's Ross Mantell, Point Grey Golf & Country Club's Jeff Buder and Black Mountain Golf Club's Russ Latimer.
With first and second round tee times now released, the BC squad will go out in four of the marquee morning groups on Nov. 18.
Latimer is out at 10:12 a.m., followed by Mantell at 10:21, Buder at 10:30 and Maxwell at 10:39 a.m. On the second day, Latimer's group is out at 7:48 a.m., followed by Mantell at 7:57, Buder at 8:06 and Maxwell at 8:15 a.m.
B.C. also has eight other strong competitors in the 90-player field.
Their tee times are: Rob Anderson of the Kelowna Golf & Country Club, playing at 8:24 a.m. on the first day and 10:48 a.m. on Day 2; Richmond Country Club's Mark Strong, playing at 8:33 a.m. and 10:57 a.m. in the group behind Anderson; Cory Betz of the Eaglecrest Golf Course at 9 a.m. and 11:24 a.m.; Kevin Black of Seven Hill Golf & Country Club in the following gfroup at 9:09 and 11:33; Mountain View Golf Club's Jeff Wiggins in the next group at 9:18 and 11:42; Sergej Dronov of Dongguan Hillview Golf Club at 9:36 a.m. and noon; and in the only group featuring two PGA of BC members, Winston Michell of Cottonwood Golf Course and James Legault of Seymour Creek Golf Centre at 10:03 and 7:39 a.m.
