Pro-Assistant Championship
The PGA of BC Pro-Assistant Championship is a unique team event that sees a Head, Executive or Head Teaching Professional form a team with another member Professional affiliated at the same facility to compete against their colleagues each July.
The 36-hole event currently features best-ball play in the opening round and a scramble format in the final round. Earlier editions of the tournament used a Modified Chapman alternate-shot format for the opening round. The tournament was conducted as an 18-hole championship in its first two years of existence.
Three duos have won the event three times -- Brian McDonald and Rob Tadey, Jeff Buder and Trevor Hay, and David Bolton & Daryl Stubbs. No individual player has won the event multiple times with different partners.
