RICHMOND, BC (PGA of British Columbia) – The PGA of BC is proud to announce that PING Canada will once again be a Preferred Partner of the Association for the next three years.
In addition to being a Silver-level Preferred Partner through the 2022 season, PING will also be a co-Presenting Sponsor of the PGA of BC Tournament of Champions for the duration of the agreement.
Over the past decades, PING has been a tremendous supporter of PGA of BC events and championships. Its generous sponsorship of the Tournament of Champions continues this long tradition.

Kicking off the Association’s championship calendar each year, the Tournament of Champions is a unique team competition taking place at a premier PGA of BC facility in late May. The event sees Club Professionals (Head, Executive or Head Teaching Professional) team up with a club champion or other designated amateur from their facility to compete as two-person teams in an 18-hole best-ball format.
The Tour LAB @ Northview is the event’s two-time defending champion, as Head Teaching Professional Matthew Palsenbarg won in 2018 with partner Jake Scarrow and again in 2019 alongside Jackson Jacob.
This year’s Tournament of Champions is scheduled to take place at a Vancouver Island course on May 25. Full details will be released when the PGA of BC releases its 2020 championship schedule in the coming weeks.
