With a wealth of experiences in golf serving a variety of roles, the panelists for this discussion have thrived throughout their careers within a male-dominated industry. Drawing upon their expertise from their decades around the game, the panelists will examine the importance of empowering women within our industry and the lasting positive impacts that can result.
About the Panelists
One of the most successful competitors ever to hail from British Columbia, Gail Graham is an honoured member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame as both a player and builder. A two-time winner on the LPGA Tour, Graham's vast experience in the golf industry includes several other titles: administrator, coach, broadcaster, tourrnament director and business owner. She continues to teach and coach players from her home base in Florida.
Tiffany Gordon is a Class "A" Professional at Carnmoney Golf Club with nearly 30 years of experience as a PGA of Canada member. She was the first-ever female recipient of the PGA of Canada's Club Professional of the Year Award in 2005 during her time as Executive Professional at Cottonwood Golf & Country Club. Gordon serves as Alberta's representative on the PGA of Canada National Board of Directors.
Judy Forshner is the Head Professional at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club and has served various roles at the Calgary facility for 30 years. Her accomplished career in golf included a stint working under Jack McLaughlin at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club. Forshner received the PGA of Canada's Murray Tucker Club Professional of the Year Award in 2015.
Cindy Soukoroff is the Head Professional at St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, and became the first female recipient of the PGA of BC's Dick Munn Golf Professional of the Year Award in 2018. In 2020, she was also selected as the Provincial Recipient of the Davie Black Professional Development Award. Soukoroff serves on the PGA of BC Board of Directors and the PGA of Canada's Diversity & Inclusion Task Force.
