About Three & Jackie Carpenter
Three Carpenter has nearly 30 years of experience as a General Manager of private clubs across the country. He’s revolutionized the organizations he’s led by creating team-oriented, highly collaborative workplace environments. By emphasizing mentoring and coaching and placing great value on the contribution of every staff member Three has cultivated happy and engaged team members. Together he and his teams have transformed outdated and financially struggling private clubs into hubs of activity that are growing and profitable. Three is a Certified Club Manager (CCM) and has managed clubs such as Wakonda Club in Des Moines, IA, Dallas Country Club in Dallas, TX and Hillwood Country Club in Nashville, TN. As a respected thought-leader, Three is an in-demand speaker who loves to share his enthusiasm and passion with others. Three has written articles for Club Management Magazine, been featured in The Private Club Advisor and is an active member of the Club Management Association of America. Three has been a featured speaker at numerous CMAA conferences and events over the years.
Three is currently the General Manager/COO of Crow Valley Golf Club in Davenport, Iowa.
With an undergraduate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas, Jackie Carpenter has taken her passion for learning and education to a new level. She spent 10 years working in private clubs across the country as a Clubhouse Manager and was one of the youngest managers in the club industry to earn her Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation. Having served as the Director of Extraordinary for the Coaching Department and The Extraordinary Leader Program for over six years, she worked with people on all levels of organizations. Jackie has been the Editor of The Private Club Advisor, one of the top publications for the club industry, for nine years has attended hundreds of conferences, conventions, webinars and workshops.
Three and Jackie spent years researching and writing their book, People First: The 5 Steps to Pure Human Connection and a Thriving Organization which was released on Oct. 5, 2021.
