RICHMOND, BC (PGA of BC) - The PGA of BC is excited to announce additional speakers for the 2024 Virtual Education Series presented by Foresight Sports Canada!
Vice President of Retail for adidas Canada, Lesley Hawkins, will bring her knowledge of market trends within the golf industry for a presentation on Retail Trends. Lesley has a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability through effective strategic planning and execution, operational efficiency, and transformational leadership. Her presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17.
Fitness coach Raymond Chang of Ace Performance Center will deliver a presentation on Golf Fitness Assessments and Prescriptions. Raymond is a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor and sports performance coach. He is TPI certified and has a wealth of experience helping golfers reach their full potential through fitness and conditioning.
Club Champion Director of Club Building & Fitting Mike Martysiewicz will share his knowledge on Club Fitting Best Practices. Mike is the Director of Club Building and Fitting at TXG and has been with the company since before their official inception. In addition to this role, Mike wears many hats at Club Champion Canada. He is often seen on camera, assisting in content production alongside Ian Fraser and recently started co-hosting TXG’s “The Build Shop” Podcast with Ryan Barath.
Members are reminded that the first event of the 2024 Virtual Education Series takes place tomorrow. Mental Health Advocate Allan Kehler will give a presentation titled "Find your Voice, Find your Power" which focuses on prioritizing mental health, balance and resilience. Members can register for the Virtual Education Bundle or for the individual presentation below to ensure their attendance at tomorrow's presentation, taking place at 10:00am.
The Virtual Education Series gives Members the opportunity to pursue professional development from the comfort of their home or office through an accessible virtual platform. The Series offers two registration options: members can register for individual Virtual sessions, or for a reduced rate, purchase a full slate bundle for access to every presentation. Professional will receive Career & Professional Development Program (PDP) points for their attendance at Virtual Education Series presentations.
