Matt Carrothers is VP - Director of Golf Instruction for GolfTec Canada. Based out of North Vancouver, Matt coaches golfers and oversees Coaching Development for Canadian Coaches at GolfTec. Matt began his teaching career as an English Teacher for Toyota Tsusho in Tokyo in 1987 responsible for preparing executives for overseas assignments. Matt returned to Canada in the spring of 1990 and began his golf career in 1990. "I wanted to combine my two passions, teaching and golf". With over 20 years of exclusive teaching and clubfitting experience, Matt has taught over 30,000 lessons in three languages. "My goal is and has always been to do everything in my power to enable my students to reach their goals and shoot their career rounds".
