Courtney joined Monaghan Golf Group in 2020 and took over as the first female Head Professional of Gleneagles Golf Course in West Vancouver. In 2017-2019 she worked at Squamish Valley Golf Club’s as Head Professional.
She is a graduate of Georgian College, in the Professional Golf Management & Business Program and also a graduate from Loyalist College in the Justice Studies Program. She played competitive junior golf in her hometown of Keene, ON and played throughout Ontario and with AJGA & her high school team. She decided to turn professional at age 19 and had the opportunity to work in Palm Springs, California at the prestigious club: The Reserve Club and in Muskoka’s at Clublinks resort course: Grandview/The Mark O’Meara Course where they held the 2002 Telus Skins game.
In 2009 Courtney moved to British Columbia to take the position of Associate Professional at Capilano Golf and Country Club where she worked for the past 9 years. She worked hard to finish and attain her PGA of Canada, Class “A” professional status in 2010. Courtney’s passion to help others play golf better comes from her own experiences with golf instruction as a junior and college player. She has attended numerous national and local PGA Teaching seminars in her continuous ambition to be the best and learned first hand from many well-known instructors.
Courtney has coached many skill set of players from Junior, to College, and the everyday golfer. Her patient demeanour coupled with her attention to detail and desire to help every student improve ensures a high level of instruction. Courtney prides herself on the fact that she is always learning and continuously striving to become a better professional.
