2020 PGA of BC Buying Show

Amid ongoing public-health circumstances, the PGA of British Columbia is proud to continue offering the Association's annual Buying Show in a virtual format taking place Oct. 14-15, 2020.

Since 2013, the Buying Show has featured industry exhibitors showcasing an array of products, including equipment, apparel, carts, accessories, golf balls, footwear, training aids, software, sunglasses, signage, and storage solutions, to name a few. The Buying Show serves as a one-stop-shop for all golf retailers throughout the province. Traditionally, this event is attended by the majority of the PGA of BC membership, representing over 150 golf facilities throughout the province, making it the Industry's largest buying show in British Columbia. Although current restrictions prohibit the Association from conducting the Buying Show in-person, the PGA of BC aims to provide the same connections between exhibitors and attendees that the event has typically provided through this year's virtual forum.



At exhibitor's convenience once granted administrative access to Virtual Exhibitor Booth. All exhibitors to receive access no later than Monday, Oct. 5. Booths must be populated with content by show opening or will be subject to removal.

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you consent to the Buying Show Exhibitor Terms & Conditions


The registration fee for all Virtual Exhibitor Booths will be $250 plus GST. Registration includes administrative and event access to your Virtual Exhibitor Booth for up to two (2) representatives and the amenities listed below under "Booth Format." 

Virtual Exhibitor Booth access for additional company representatives can be purchased for $20 plus GST each. Exhibitors who have completed their registration may CLICK HERE to obtain access for additional representatives; please review instructions on the page prior to purchase. 

All booths will include the following capabilities and amenities to interact with Buying Show attendees. 

  • Access to the Buying Show platform and Virtual Exhibitor Booth administration credentials for two (2) company representatives, with access for additional representatives available for purchase
  • Ability to brand booth with organizational logo(s) and introductory/welcome video
  • Ability to create listings of available products, complete with pricing information, photos, videos and discounts unique to each item
  • Ability to upload catalogues or other documents for attendees to download and view
  • Ability to promote special Buying Show offer to attendees
  • Capacity to connect Zoom account to booth to facilitate online, face-to-face meetings with attendees
  • Ability for attendees to send direct messages to exhibitor representatives or to post messages to booth communication channel via show platform
  • Access to listing of all Buying Show attendees, with functions to send messages and set meetings with specific individuals
  • Ability for representatives of multiple exhibitors to be present in multiple booths simultaneously
  • Access to free, interactive exhibitor webinar training to help set up your booth, as well as access to articles and guides within the platform’s Help Centre

Exhibitor representatives will also have the ability to access all other elements of the Buying Show as regular attendees.

Each exhibitor is responsible for the setup of their Virtual Exhibitor Booth and the population of its content. 

All Virtual Exhibitor Booths will be listed in a Buying Show Floor gallery within the event's virtual platform. Gallery ordering will be subject to the discretion of the PGA of BC and may change at any time, including during operating hours of the Buying Show. No special requests will be accommodated. 



Exhibitor Registration will close at 4 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Cancellation Deadline:
Cancellations will be accepted until Sept. 30 with a refund, less a $125 administration fee.

No refunds will be issued following the Sept. 30 cancellation deadline.

The PGA of British Columbia Buying Show is a private show open to members of the PGA of BC, with invitations sent to the BC Golf Industry. PGA of BC members, retail buyers from PGA of BC facilities and members of the NCGOA Canada BC Chapter are welcome to attend at no charge.

Limited access is also available to members of the CSCM, BCGSA and to unaffiliated retail golf buyers for a fee of $20 plus GST.

Due to the sensitivity of information from manufacturers, no access will be granted to the general public. Any approved attendees found to be providing event access to unapproved attendees will be subject to removal from the Buying Show and will not be welcome to participate in future Buying Shows conducted by the PGA of BC.

The PGA of British Columbia, in partnership with Foresight Sports Canada, is proud to offer all attendees complimentary education sessions taking place at the Foresight Sports Canada Education Stage, which will be integrated into the Virtual Buying Show platform. These sessions offer Professional Development Program credit for PGA of BC members and cover topics of interest to all Golf Professionals and other industry stakeholders. 

The schedule and featured presenters will be made available closer to the event. 


The SimplePay Show Lounge provides a versatile space for attending Golf Professionals, exhibitors and retail buyers to conduct business, network and socialize with industry peers throughout the event within the Virtual Buying Show platform. More information will be released closer to the event.
