James was introduced to golf at the age of 12 and has been passionate about the game ever since. As a junior player at Pitt Meadows Golf Club he was motivated by the challenge of self improvement. It was during this time that James became determined to pursue a career as a Golf Professional. He attended Selkirk College and graduated with his diploma from the Golf Operation Management Program. James eventually joined the Westwood Plateau Golf Academy where he continued to develop his professional career and attained his PGA of Canada status in 2000. James’ experience and commitment to excellence in customer service proved to be a strong asset to the Westwood management team over the next 15 years. Most recently his teaching experience at GOLFTEC Coquitlam as Centre Manager/Head Teaching Professional has been beneficial to him as a coach. James is dedicated to enhancing your game and your enjoyment of the game in a simple straight forward manner.
