With twenty years experience in the golf industry, Tom Monaghan began his career at Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta and currently holds the position of Head Professional at Fraserview Golf Course in Vancouver, BC. During the years in between he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, and attended the San Diego Golf Academy’s Orlando, Florida campus, graduating with honors with his Associates Degree in Golf Complex Operations Management. He obtained his PGA status in 2001 and in 2004 was awarded the PGA of Canada Tex Noble Award for the highest Class A examination mark in Canada. Tom worked at a number of respected private, semi-private and municipal golf courses in Vancouver, such as Capilano Golf & Country Club, Richmond Country Club, Vancouver Golf Club, Langara Golf Course and Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club before launching Monaghan Golf Inc. In 2009 Tom’s company Monaghan Golf Inc. was awarded a nine year contract to provide golf Professional services at Fraserview Golf Course. Since that time he has also deployed his team to management contracts for Langara Golf Course in Vancouver, Gleneagles Golf Course and Ambleside Par 3 in West Vancouver, Mount Brenton Golf Course on Vancouver Island, Bowen Island Golf Club on Bowen Island, BC and Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Kelowna, BC. Tom currently sits on the Board of Directors of the PGA of Canada Foundation.
