HARRISON MILLS, BC (PGA of British Columbia) -- Play is underway at the 2022 PGA of BC Assistants' & Seniors' Championships presented by Arbor Memorial, hosted at Sandpiper Golf Course in Harrison Mills, BC. Both events are conducted concurrently and are 36-hole championships.

The PGA of BC Assistants' Championship is open to all members serving in roles other than Head, Executive or Head Teaching Professional within the Association. The Full field of 72 players includes defending champion Conner Kozak (The Okanagan Golf Club), who won his first Assistants' Championship at Kamloops Golf and Country Club last July. Kozak edged 2020 PGA of BC Champion Keith Martin (Tower Ranch Golf Club) and Zach Olson (Chilliwack Golf Club) by two-strokes on his way to victory.
Meanwhile, 36 members aged 50 and older chase Kelowna Golf & Country Club Head Professional Rob Anderson as he looks to defend his first title after claiming the Ben Colk trophy in 2021. Anderson's win in his first appearance in this championship comes by way of a five-stroke victory over fellow senior rookie Peter Kenneford of Creston Golf Club.
