Jim Gibson Patron of the Year

2023 Recipient - Wendy Toyer, ALS Society of BC/PROJECT HOPE

For several decades, Jim Gibson was a volunteer Competition Advisor for the PGA of BC. He was a very accomplished amateur player and a great ambassador for the game of golf. More than that, he was a kind-hearted man who always gave back and supported the Golf Professional throughout. A two-time recipient of this very award himself, the PGA of BC later honoured Gibson with the Association's highest honour, the Lifetime Achievement Award, in 2011.

The Jim Gibson Patron of the Year Award is awarded each year to a person, group of people or organization that demonstrates exceptional contribution to the Association's initiatives.
