We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2014 PGA of BC Awards program. Several changes have been made to this year's Awards program, including the opportunity for members to vote in the selection process. Also new in 2014 is the introduction of Media Personnel of the Year Award, which will be selected by the PGA of BC Administration and Board of Directors.

Golf's tough - bring a wingman. 2013's Pro-Assistant Championship saw Summerland's Tyrel Babkirk partner with a VERY strong wingman in newly carded PGA Tour Canada member Greg Machtaler. The duo finished at -20 over two rounds at Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club to nip Olympic View's Kevin Maxwell and Matt Matheson for the title.

He's one of the newest members of the PGA of BC and soon to be a father, but Oliver Tubb of the Seymour Creek Golf Centre can now add the title of 2014 FlightScope/COBRA PUMA Golf PGA of BC Assistants' Champion to his resume.

The PGA of British Columbia is proud to announce long-time PGA of BC Life Member Alvie Thompson will be honoured with the 2014 PGA of British Columbia Lifetime Achievement Award.
